Château de Monluc

Château Laffitte-Teston

Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh are two AOCs that can be found in the Gers, Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées Atlantiques departments here in the south-west of France. The estate Laffitte-Teston boasts some of the best growing conditions in the region. Jean-Marc Laffitte, the owner, produces three red Madirans, a dry and a sweet Pacherenc, and a rosé de Bearn. Saint-Mont

Wine has been produced around the village of Saint-Mont since the 4th century. This long tradition has been rejuvenated since 1979 resulting in some excellent red, white and rosé wines. Wine tastings are organised at the Saint-Mont discovery centre. The village holds its wine festival on the last weekend of March each year.

Independent Wine Producers of Gascony

With the watchwords of authenticity, tradition and passion some 200 wine producers have united to create the Independent Wine Producers of Gascony. Bold entrepreneurs, creators of their own wines, they uphold the skills of their forefathers using a subtle blend of both traditional and modern methods of viticulture. Numerous members of the group offer tastings and tours. Some offer meals or picnic hampers too.
